Brett Farve Traded to the Jets
Finally the Saga is over.
Being a Giants fan and living in NYC this will be fun, now i can watch both teams and not say OMFG the Jets suck.

I'm actually a Patriots fan myself, but I'm going to have to say that the Jets are going to be even better than last season.
Maybe New York is getting really lucky? Boston Red Sox is trading their best players, the Yankees got I-Rod, and now they have one of the best quarterbacks of all time!

Title of thread: Farve. Actual Name: Favre.
My brother is a Green Bay Packers fan and a Miami Dolphins fan. This trade means one of his teams lost a legend and the other team is about to get dominated by him. He's pissed
VV I'm with you Crimson. I'm actually up in Boilertown with Rahja. You and I may not agree on college teams but I bet we agree on NFL teams

I'm a Colts fan myself. Brett Favre on the Jets doesn't scare me too much. After all, he's gotta have some receivers to throw to.
EDIT: Not another Purdon't fan, zelgadissan. I'm sad now.

American football, AW. Brett Favre is one of the all-time great quarterbacks, but he's getting old.

Favre, not Hull. Hockey stopped being relevant to Americans when the Stanley Cup ended. It'll come back in a few months, don't worry.

Yickes. Ahh nothing like a Canadian Living in America. Get it from both ends.
Nothing like American Foot ball 4 downs. Should try canadian foot ball only get 3 chances there and the field is Bigger, longer, tougher, harder, FROZEN!
On a lighter note. Canadians know all about our Brothers to the South even their Football Players.
I think that he has a shot at doing a decent season if he can get the front line to keep him protected on the scramble. I do believe that there are a few good young receivers that might come to something this season but they will still have to beat the Colts.

I was kind of hoping he'd get traded to the Bucs at least. The packer's GM is a real jerk for dumping him off on a 4 win team... The only thing worse he could have done is traded him to the dolphins.

Go Bears and Colts! 2007 Super Bowl was the best thing ever! =P
And I'm glad Farve is gone, but he should have just stayed retired.
Also with the Purdue vs IU deal, Notre Dame would kick both your asses. =P

If you're going to be in Indy for college why not just go to Butler, though IUPUI is pretty great for their various programs.

Seeing as I live in Green Bay, and have my whole life, it's inherent that I'm a complete Packers nut (I haven't missed a game for 10 years). I can honestly say I'm glad he's gone, because I've been waiting for the Aaron Rodgers era for the past 2 years and I'm excited out the wazoo for it.
